Blog EntryOn second home and Jessica ZafraMar 8, '08 6:27 AM
for everyone
I just transferred to my second blog home.. Except for the basic and necessary settings, the place is still bare of color, shape, design, etc.  The "for rent/sale" sign has been removed, but the owner has not moved in completely.. But just like some territorial animals, I am placing an indelible mark that screams, "This is mine!"

Enough of this blah.. the truth of the matter is -- I just want to join this online contest in which the winner brings home the bacon: "8 brand new signed copy of Twisted 8 : The night of the living twisted by Jessica Zafra! And for more information, please take a look at the Manila Freelancer.

You mean THE Jessica Zafra? Is there anybody else named Jessica Zafra? Duh! Of course, it's her, the one and the only.. (as of writing, I searched far and wide and so far, no person named as hers came up.. see, just by her name alone, she definitely rules the universe..)  OMG, I'm gushing all over and this is bad, totally bad.. Why? I have this gut feeling that she wouldn't like it, i mean, the blabbing, gushing, blushing, girly tone.. But can't help it! Forgive me, this is my first time to write something about the Jessica Zafra.. Lets take a deep breath.. there.. feels better.. Now, where was I? Seriously, I got acquainted with Jessica Zafra during my high school years, the time when I would frequent the library just to read her column "Twisted."  For somebody whose introvertness and weirdness are bordering dangerously close to becoming a nerd or an autistic, I found in her essays that comfortable nook where I began to better yet slowly understand myself, that being different and doing things differently may not be socially acceptable but should not restrict anybody from following the greatness that lies within and beyond the walls of convention, mediocrity and comfort zones.. (Whoa! Was that me? Hehehe!)  So, Jessica (calling you by your first name gives me goosebumps..hehehe), you may not be aware of your wonderful effect on people and you may not know me, but I would like to THANK YOU  for, somehow, being one of those influences to embrace, accept and love the "ME."

Whew! I hope that earned me some points.. still have one important thing to do to qualify me for this contest and before dementia takes over, got to go!

Don't forget to click that link above, okay?

FYI: Jessica Zafra is from Bicol too.  (Isn't that fantastic? Hehehe!)
